Waypoint's 130 dedicated and committed volunteers make a tremendous difference in the lives of our patients and clients, and have a major impact on our staff's ability to provide quality care. And we want to take every opportunity to say a thank you!

As part of National Volunteer Week, our volunteers' talent, knowledge and care were celebrated at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Tea.

A number of long serving volunteers were recognized for their contributions with Linda Armstrong, Carol Baker and Shelley Fedoriw each being acknowledged for 5 years of volunteer service.

We were also delighted to share the results of the Standardized Volunteer Opinion Survey. Health care volunteers across the province participated and Waypoint came out on top in the two of the six categories and ranked second in three others.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for your contributions to our patients and clients and Waypoint as a whole.
