Be a part of "Hearing Loss – Dealing with the Sounds of Silence", the 17th “Our Health" discussion, on Thursday, November 29 at 7:30 PM at the MCC.
Dr. Keith Rose, the moderator, will be joined by four experts; Dr. Greg Price-Jones, Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon, Andy Audia, Hearing Instrument Specialist, Dr. Kevin Young, Geriatrician, and Ross Hart from the Canadian Hearing Society.
Learn about:
• Causes, and tests to identify hearing loss
• Use and technology of assistive devices
• Relationship between hearing loss and risk of dementia
• Support services available from the Canadian Hearing Society
For those with hearing loss, we have reserved the front row seats at the MCC. In addition, we are excited to introduce, Live Open Captioning, technology which converts sound to text in real time!
