Hospital Development Committee adds new members
On the heels of our most successful fundraising dinner yet, Waypoint is thrilled to welcome seven new members to the Development Committee. “Our Development Committee helps guide the public relations, community engagement and fundraising activities of the hospital,” says Adam Chambers, a Waypoint Board Member and Development Committee Chair. “All of our new members bring a wealth of expertise and we are strong together as a team because of their contributions.”
The new members are Andrea Ahrens, Joanne Byrick, Michael Feraday, Brandon Lewicki, Amber McAuley, Danielle Smith and Dr. John Weekes. Each of these members bring fundraising experience as well as a personal connection to mental illness, mental health, and a commitment to the hospital’s fundraising goals.
“One of our goals is to increase advocacy and community understanding of mental illness,” says John Barrett-Hamilton, Waypoint Board Chair. “Our new members’ experience will help us move forward with this goal. We are stronger together.”
