Kimberly joined the Waypoint Research Institute as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in October of 2019. She is currently managing the Chronotype research project that looks at preference for time of day in Waypoint’s forensic inpatient population. In addition, Kimberly is participating in a systematic review of the genetic and structural correlates of proactive aggression in the brain with Dr. Nathan Kolla. Kimberly completed her PhD in Plant Science at the University of Alberta in 2013. Prior to working at Waypoint, Kimberly did freelance writing and data analysis for the University of Guelph in the areas of commercial cropping in Ontario. Kimberly is new to the field of mental health and ambitious to use her research skills in projects that investigate mental health.
