Matthew Duquette, BScH, MPH
Research Analyst
Matthew joined the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care in 2022 as a Research Analyst. He is working as part of the Model
of Care team to improve the quality and efficiency of care at Waypoint. He is also the Evaluation Lead for the Leaders’ Standard Work
(LSW) team. Matthew graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2020 with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Health Sciences and from the University
of Waterloo in 2022 with a Master’s Degree in Public Health.
During his master’s, he worked with Parachute Canada as a Research Analyst for developing and
accessing traffic safety initiatives as a part of their Vision Zero project. Matthew also spent his undergrad and master’s working as a Pharmacy Assistant. He also worked
as a student emergency response team member during his undergrad, where he was responsible for providing emergency medical
care to students on campus, as well as the onboarding, training, and
supervision of emergency response team members.
