Melanie DupuisMelanie DupuisBSc (Hons), MSc, Research Analyst

Melanie joined the Waypoint Research Institute as a Research Analyst in March 2018. Throughout her time working in the Research Institute, she has collaborated with many individuals both internal and external to the department, while contributing to several research projects. Currently, Melanie supports the evaluation of the North Simcoe Youth Wellness Hub, Dr. Nathan Kolla’s MRI Study, an external project focusing on the use of Pharmacogenomics, and Dr. Liam Marshall’s work focusing on risk assessments and interventions in (primarily) forensic populations. Melanie has enjoyed the opportunity of getting to work on a diverse collection of projects, which have allowed her to develop her skills and confidence as an early-career researcher. Melanie completed her education at the University of Guelph, earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences and a Master of Science in Population Medicine and Epidemiology.
