Linda Adams joined the Senior Leadership Team at Waypoint in August 2015. 

Linda started her career as a staff nurse in a Level 111 tertiary center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Toronto and transitioned into Labour and Delivery. Although passionate about front line nursing, Linda began to transition into progressive leadership positions commencing in 1999 both within acute care as well as within Public Health. Leadership roles included Program Manager York Region Public Health, a Ministry level policy analyst secondment and Program Manager at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. In her most recent roles, as Program Director at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and Operations Director at Mackenzie Health, Linda has successfully lead and achieved operational and strategic level transformations at the local and provincial levels. Linda acknowledges her ability to achieve goals occurs through working with teams, engaging key stakeholders in the process and focusing on end results.

Linda’s educational background includes a Diploma of Nursing from Canadore College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Laurentian University, a Masters of Nursing Science (Administration focus) from the University of Toronto and most recently her certification as a Canadian Health Executive (CHE) in 2013.
