Child and Youth Mental Health Walk in Clinics
Child and Youth Mental Health Walk-in Clinics

The Walk-In Clinic is your first step into the services that New Path offers.  It provides a single session to children, youth and families who require support for emotional, relationship or behavioural challenges. When appropriate, referrals to New Path's other programs can also take place at the Walk-In Clinic.

The program is offered weekly in New Path offices across Simcoe County and can be accessed children, youth and families as often as they require support.

You are generally seen in order of your arrival (in some cases some may be seen sooner).

If the clinic is full, we may have to ask you come back to the clinic on the next clinic day or schedule an appointment time for you to return.

During the session, you will have the opportunity to speak with a clinician who will work with you to gain a better understanding of the concern that has brought you to the clinic and/or help you to develop strategies for this concern.

If you come back to the Walk-In Clinic for additional supports, the same clinician may not always be available. Don’t worry, we are all here to help.

How do I access this program?
Children, youth and families can self-refer by attending one of the walk-in clinic locations across the county. For the most current dates and times, visit the New Path website (www.newpath.ca). Information can also be obtained by contacting New Path’s Central Intake Department 705.725.7656 or from the 905 area code in Simcoe County 1.866.566.7656
