Kim was appointed to the Waypoint Board of Directors in June 2021. Kim comes to the Board with a career dedicated to health system leadership; a focus that was fueled early in her career by the importance she placed on improving care for others. 

Kim holds Master of Health Science (Health Administration) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Administrative Studies from York University. She also holds Chartered Board Director certification from McMaster University, DeGroote School of Business, and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders. 

Most recently Kim spent over a decade as Chief Executive Officer at Central Local Health Integration Network, one of the largest provincially funded home healthcare organizations. She has also served as a Board Member at the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC), Hill House Residential Hospice, Human Services Planning Board, Region of York, Central Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), and as a Council Member at Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. 

Kim has the ability to build relationships, inspire change and improve performance to create a healthcare system that works better for all stakeholders. Her breadth of experience in government, hospital, long-term care, and home and community care gives her an in-depth understanding of this complex system that she will bring with her to the Waypoint Board of Directors.
