Research Interests
Tejas Srinivas, Ph.D., C.Psych. is a Clinical Psychologist and Regional & Clinical Training Lead for Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) in the Central North region. In her current role, she provides clinical leadership, consultation, and training to clinicians delivering evidence-based psychological treatments, with a particular focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She works closely with regional and provincial partners to support the implementation of clinical standards, optimize stepped-care service delivery, and enhance access to high-quality mental health care across Ontario.
Dr. Srinivas is actively involved in program evaluation, quality improvement, and research initiatives aimed at improving client and system outcomes. Her recent quality improvement work has focused on identifying and addressing factors associated with client ineligibility, treatment non-completion, and wait times within publicly funded psychotherapy services. Her research has focused on diverse, trauma-exposed and trauma-affected populations, particularly survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and intimate partner violence (IPV). Her scholarly work has examined the psychological impacts of trauma, trauma-related mental health outcomes, and factors that promote recovery and resilience. Across her research, clinical, and quality improvement activities, Dr. Srinivas is committed to advancing trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health care and translating scientific knowledge into meaningful improvements in practice, service delivery, and policy.
Dr. Srinivas completed her doctoral and master’s training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, and her psychology residency at the VA Boston Healthcare System, affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Philosophy, summa cum laude, from Yale University.
